(U) Emboff delivered reftel points to Andrej Svetlicic from
the Legal Department of the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign
Affairs on October 16. He assured us that the Saudi nationals
are not active in Slovenia and that the GOS is committed to
applying all UN sanctions quickly. Svetlicic explained that,
in Slovenia, several ministries and offices have different
pieces of information regarding banking and business
information; it is the responsibility of the MFA's Legal
Department to disseminate UN sanctions information to the
other entities and coordinate financial sanctions overall.
