1. (U) EmbOff delivered reftel A points to Minister Counselor
Melina Radenkovic of the MFA Division for Asia, Africa, and
the Pacific. Radenkovic stated that Slovenia supports the EU
amd UN positions on Burma. Although Slovenia does not have
any existing or planned foreign assistance programs in Burma,
it does support EU assistance programs and will continue to
work with the EU to ensure that these programs assist the
democracy movement in Burma without benefitting the Burmese
regime.
