Poloff delivered ref A demarche November 16 to MFA Director
for UN and Multilateral Affairs Javier Yepez, who confirmed
that Peru's position on subject remained unchanged from that
described in refs B-D. Yepez was familiar with the most
recent IAEA report and agreed with the U.S. analysis of its
contents as describe in ref A. Yepez said that Peru would
work to secure consensus on an additional Chapter VII UNSCR.
