1. Per reftel request, post provides the following information
concerning Malawi's delegation to the July 18-19 AGOA forum in
Accra, Ghana.


2. Malawi's proposed delegation consists of the following
individuals (note: Malawi's President has not yet confirmed the
proposed delegate list, but is expected to do so):

-- Dr. Ken Lipenga, MP, Minister of Industry, Trade and Private
Sector Development

-- Bernard Sande, Principal Secretary for Private Sector
Development, Ministry of Industry, Trade and Private Sector
Development, and former Malawian Ambassador to the U.S.

-- Hawa Ndilowe, Malawian Ambassador to the U.S.


3. In addition, USAID is sponsoring the following civil society
participant:

-- Betty Chinyamunyamu, Development Director, National Association
of Smallholder Farmers (NASFAM)
