-- Under the title "Where, When, and How?" Adel Al-Tukhaim commented
in progressive Arabic daily Al-Qabas (06/12):

"No one questions the capability of the United States and Israel in
directing a painful strike to Iran. But, the absence of clear
answers about the nature of the Iranian reaction may be the reason
for delaying or calling off such an operation. These questions
center on where, when, how Iran will react. America and Israel know
that Iran is not like Iraq."

-- "Iran Will Attack Gulf States" was the title under which Dr.
Bassam Al-Shatti inquired in Alam Al-Yawm, one of three
recently-issued newspapers (06/12):

"When will Iran stop interfering in the domestic affairs of Gulf
countries and threatening us? Does this not justify a
reconsideration of our relations with Iran?"

-- Liberal Saleh Al-Shayji inquired in moderate Arabic daily
Al-Anbaa under the title "Iranian Islam" (06/12):

"Are Gulf States not Muslims? Does Iranian Islam allow Iran to
attack peaceful Muslims in their homelands? Or, does Iran wish to
pit Persians against Arabs?"

-- "Shamkhani's Empty Accusations and the Dualism of Iranian
Rhetoric" was the title under which liberal Nasser Al-Otaibi wrote:

"The world has had enough of Ahmadinejad's stupid acts and the
double-sided and contradictory nature of Iran's political rhetoric.
As we have stated in the past: 'the regime should spare the Iranian
people the horrors of war and destruction by embracing moderation
and logic and distancing itself from imprudent and barbarian
rhetoric.'"
