(SBU) PolOff delivered on May 30 reftel points as well as a
copy of the USG report on compliance with UNSCR 1747 to
Rashid Al-Salih, the MFA official responsible for
international agreements. Al-Salih reiterated that Kuwait's
report is complete (ref B) but is awaiting approval by the
MFA Undersecretary, who has been out of Kuwait for several
weeks and will not return until next week, and the Foreign
Minister, who also just returned from a trip to Washington.
