Director for International Organization Mahmoud Al-Awadi.
Al-Awadi said Kuwait appreciates USG interest in credible
leadership for the WFP Board, and asked whether alternative
candidates had been identified. He said he would discuss the
issue with Kuwait's Ambassador in Rome and ask him to work
with the U.S. and others there on the matter.
