On October 22 and November 1 respectively, Poloff delivered
reftel demarches to MFA International Organizations Counselor
Dr. Hamad Bou Rahmah. Bou Rahmah said that the decision on
which candidate to support in the elections for the UN
Independent Audit Advisory Committee (IAAC) will be taken by
the Kuwaiti delegation to the UN. At this time, Bou Rahmah
does not know which candidate the GOK is likely to support,
but promised to relay to the Kuwaiti delegation the reftel
points in favor of Mr. David Walker.
