(C) On October 2, Charge met with Kuwait Ministry of Foreign
Affairs Under Secretary Khaled Suliman Al-Jarallah to discuss
reftel's request to facilitate the opening of an additional
border crossing between Iraq and Kuwait. Al-Jarallah offered
no comment other than that he would refer the matter to
relevant officials in the Ministries of Defense and Interior.
