(S/NF) We delivered reftel demarche concerning Target
Airfreight, a Malaysian firm in violation of ISNA provisions
on transfer of controlled items to Iran, to Bala Chandran
Tharman, Principal Assistant Secretary, Multilateral
Political Division in the Malaysian Foreign Ministry on April
¶11. He expressed his gratitude that the Embassy was able to
provide more information than in the previous case involving
Target Airfreight. He offered his assurances that the issue
would be looked into by the relevant authorities. Post will
follow up accordingly.
