(SBU) We delivered to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the
reftel request for meetings with Special Representative Ford.
All principal members of Malaysia's Bureau of Multilateral
Political Affairs are already in New York for the United
Nations General Assembly. Under Secretary Shahrul Ikram is
the principal point of contact for this matter and the
Ministry welcomed the Department contacting him in New York.
