1. (SBU) On December 13, the Principal Officer convened an EAC
meeting in Kolkata in response to reftel. Post is not aware of
any threat information that is aimed at American interests in
Eastern India. Post employees were reminded to provide their
supervisors with contact information if traveling during the
holiday season. The SD Team and Local Guard Force has also been
reminded to remain vigilant and to report all security anomalies
immediately. The Calcutta International School and the American
School Kolkata (ASK) will be closed December 14 through the
holiday period.
2. (SBU) Post's current security posture and warden message are
sufficient at present but Post will continue to monitor possible
security issues and will make changes if necessary.
