¶1. (U) POLOFF delivered reftel demarche on December 7 to
Alice Kimpembe Bamba, Minister Plenipotentiary in the
International Organizations Office of the Congolese Ministry
of Foreign Affairs.
¶2. (U) Kimpembe thanked POLOFF for sharing the information on
Iran's nuclear program. She said that the DRC supports the
peaceful resolution to the dispute over the program. She
said that the DRC would consider our request to urge Iran to
suspend its uranium enrichment, reprocessing, and heavy
water-related activities.
