1. (Secret) On May 31, 2007, ARSO Bleu Lawless was contacted
by a Sudanese-American, identified as Abuobaida A. Mohed, who
claimed to have access to radioactive uranium. During a
subsequent interview conducted by ARSO Lawless and SIMO
representatives, Mohed claimed that his uncle, who is a
Sudanese lawyer, had a former client who was attempting to
sell the uranium for USD $15 million. Mohed stated that the
seller, described by Mohed as a Southern Sudanese male,
purchased the uranium in Wau. Mohed claimed that the uranium
originated from South Africa. According to Mohed, the
unidentified seller believed that the US Government would be
interested in purchasing the uranium. Mohed claimed his
uncle solicited his help because he thought that, as a US
citizen, Mohed could use his passport to gain entry to the US
Embassy without alerting the Sudanese National Intelligence
and Security Service (NISS). An investigation conducted by
ARSO Lawless and SIMO, determined that the material, although
labelled "Radioactive Uranium", was inert.

3. (Confidential) Mohed has contacted ARSO Lawless several
times to solicite help in obtaining a job at the US Embassy
in Khartoum. Mohed claims he is a graduate of California
State University at Long Beach with a degree in Airport
Administration. Mohed also claims that he was formerly a US
Postal Service employee. Mohed stated that he was offered a
job with a government contractor as a translator and holds a
interim DOD Secret clearance.
