materials to the Government of the Islamic Republic of
Afghanistan regarding the candidacy of Pierre Richard-Prosper
to the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial
Discrimination Committee. On December 08, G. Seddiq Rasuli,
Deputy Director of the United Nations and International
Conferences Department of the MFA provided poloff a copy of a

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of
Afghanistan presents its compliments to the Embassy of the
United States of America in Kabul and responds to its letter
No. 07 -3191 dated November 18, 2007:
Considering the friendly relationship between the Islamic
Republic of Afghanistan and the United States of America, the
Islamic Republic of Afghanistan supports the candidacy of Mr.
Pierre Richard Prosper to the Committee for Eradication of
Racial Discrimination (CERD).
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of
Afghanistan avails itself of the opportunity to renew to the
Embassy of the United States the assurance of its highest
consideration.
