This is an action request. ¶2. In order to comply with Leahy vetting requirements, this cable forwards the names and biodata of twenty-three (23) Afghan National Police officers from Herat province. These individuals are selected for a regional Justice Sector Support Program (JSSP),which begins on October 15. When there are individuals with one name, Post has made a good faith effort to ensure that these individuals actually only have one name. Post requests Department's review of these candidates and response by September 31, 2007. ¶3.
