¶1. (U) Pol/C delivered reftel demarche regarding the USG
candidate for the UN Audit Committee (IAAC) to Ramadansyah
Hasan of the Directorate for International Security and UN
Affairs at the Department of Foreign Affairs, October 22.
Pol/C underscored the importance of the November 2 election
and David Walker's qualifications as a candidate. Pol/C left
behind a copy of Walker's c.v.
¶2. (U) Hasan thanked Pol/C for the information and said his
office would carefully review the U.S. request for support.
