In response to Refs A and B, PolChief delivered demarches and related materials to Counselor Jani Raappani in the Finnish MFA,s Unit for Arms Control, Disarmament and Non-Proliferation. Demarche and document delivery were coordinated with the Russian Embassy,s Counselor Vladimir Kozen. ¶2. On June 4 the Embassy received a Note Verbale from the GOF indicating that it had endorsed the GI,s Statement of Principles. (Note has been faxed to State ISN/WMDT.) ¶3. Finland will be represented at the GI,s June 11-12 meeting in Kazakhstan by Ambassador Hannu Mantyvaara. ¶4.
