(SBU) On July 24, the Ambassador delivered reftel demarche to
Ministry of Foreign Affairs Director General Ambassador Umaru
Wurie. Wurie said he believed Sierra Leone had signed and
ratified the convention but was not certain. He said he would
check on the status and report where Sierra Leone currently
stands on the convention. He also said he would review
legislation to see if it was adequate to comply with NCT
provisions.
