(S) On July 24, the Ambassador delivered reftel demarche to
Ministry of Foreign Affairs Director General Ambassador Umaru
Wurie. The Ambassador reiterated the importance of universal
and robust implementation of UNSCRs 1737 and 1747. Wurie said
his government was committed to sanctions and asked for
guidance on submission of its implementation report to the
UNSC Iran Sanctions Committee. As suggested by ISN/RA, Post
will forward a copy of a USG report to the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs as a model for its report.
