1. Ambassador delivered reftel points during the U.S.-Greek
Economic and Commercial Cooperation Council meeting in Athens
on March 12. On March 14, Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Secretary General Skylakakis informed EconCouns that Greece

would support the U.S.-E.U. Open Skies Plus Agreement at the
March 22 Transport Council meeting.
2. Comment: Given Greece's significant tourist industry, and
relatively small aviation sector, this was an expected
outcome. Our interlocutors did not have any insights on the
outcome of the Transport Council session. End Comment
