(SBU) In response to Post's earlier reftel demarche, Janice
McGann, Third Secretary in the Department of Foreign Affairs
(DFA) UN/Conflict Resolution office (formerly, the
UN/International Terrorism office) informed Post on April 13
that she was circulating information to the Irish Central
Bank and Departments of Justice and Finance on the U.S.
designation of Iran's Defense Industries Organization (DIO).
She committed to contact Post if the GOI discovered any
activities in, or connections to, Ireland involving the DIO.
