On May 9, Econoff delivered demarche (reftel) to Ms. Abida
Islam, Director of America and Pacific Wing, Ministry of
Foreign Affairs. Post confirmed that Bangladesh's delegation
will consist of Dr. A S M Matiur Rahman, Adviser to the
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (chief of delegation);
Dr. Mohammad Shajahann Biswas, Director General, Directorate
of Health Services; Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abul Faiz, Principal,
Dhaka Medical College and Hospital; and Mr. Mohammed
Jahangir, Joint Chief, Health Economics Wing. Econoff
provided reftel talking points to Ms. Islam for forwarding to
the delegation. Post will report any substantive response.
