and Multilateral Affairs Division Deputy Director Satya
Rodrigo on April 3. Rodrigo stated that Sri Lanka has no
relations with Iran's Defense Industries Organization (DIO)
under that or any other name listed in the nonpaper. Rodrigo
forwarded the nonpaper to GSL's Financial Intelligence Unit
at the Central Bank so that it could flag any potential
transactions with DIO. Embassy will report any further
developments.
