(C) Per reftel, on August 12 poloff advised Ashraf Mohsen, Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for Counter Terror Issues, of the upcoming ARB proceedings for Egyptian GTMO detainee Sharif Fathim Al-Mushad. Mohsen said he will inform poloff as soon as possible as to whether the GOE will submit any written information for the ARB's consideration. Mohsen also asserted that, per reftel request, the GOE will attempt to locate Al-Mushad's relatives, inform them of the upcoming ARB, and pass to poloff any written information the family provides.
