¶1. In a meeting with poloff on November 26, Director General
for the Americas and Europe in the Ministry of External
Relations Ambassador Egide Ndikuriyo indicated he needed to
consult with Burundi representatives in New York before
affirming support for the candidature of Mr. Pierre-Richard
Prosper to the UN Committee for the Elimination of Racial
Discrimination. Ndikuriyo promised a response before
November 30.
