1. ConOff delivered reftel talking points to Advisor Mauricio Alice
of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Officer of the Legal
Advisor (OLA). Alice stated that he would pass on our concern about
the checklist and our offer of assistance to the agencies involved
in the process. He noted that the self-assessment checklist was
already with the Anti-Corruption Office and that they were
evaluating it. He also expressed interest in learning more about
the types of assistance we could offer. They are also evaluating
the questionnaires on the UN Convention against Transnational
Organized Crime. Finally, the GOA was interested in hearing more
about our participation in the pilot program discussed at the last
meeting of Conference of Parties.
