On June 22, Econoff and TSA Attache delivered the U.S.
positions described in ref A and ref B to Messrs. Marcelo
Cesa and Martin Romero, from the Argentine Foreign Ministry's
Office of North American Affairs and Office of Regional
Multilateral Affairs, respectively. According to Messrs.
Cesa and Romero, Argentina has not yet formulated its
positions with respect to these reftel subjects. Messrs.
Cesa and Romero said that they will be in contact with us
regarding their position in the coming weeks, regarding both
a response to the U.S. positions and if they will present any
working papers at the Assembly. We will continue to seek
feedback prior to the September meeting.
