COUNTERTERRORISM CONFERENCE

(U) Regarding reftel request, officials within Belgium's
Federal Police and MFA Counterterrorism Office indicate
Belgium plans to attend the OSCE-hosted conference:
Partnership of State Authorities, Civil Society and the
Business Community in Combating Terrorism (PPP Conference).
Specific attendees have not yet been designated, but Belgians
plan to send representatives from the Interior Ministry's
Crisis Center (which works closely on Belgium's national
Counterterrorism Plan) and from the Belgian Federation of
Private Companies, an organization which works cooperatively
with law enforcement authorities on a variety of security
issues. Any additional information will be sent septel.
