SUBJECT: STATUS OF APIS LEGISLATION IN THE EASTERN CARIBBEAN
1. Per WHA/CAR's instructions, post is reporting on the
status of the Advance Passenger Information System (APIS)
legislation in Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, St. Kitts and
Nevis, St. Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Antigua and Barbuda
--------------
2. Antigua and Barbuda's upper and lower houses of the
parliament have passed the APIS legislation. All that
remains is for the Governor General to sign the legislation
and for it to be gazzetted. This is expected to take another
week.

Dominica
--------------
3. Dominica passed the APIS legislation on January 8, 2007.

St. Kitts and Nevis
--------------
4. St. Kitts and Nevis passed the APIS legislation in
October 2006.

St. Lucia
--------------
5. St. Lucia's lower house of parliament passed the APIS
legislation on February 6, 2007. The legislation will go to
the Senate the next time they meet, which is expected to be
the week of February 12-16.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines

6. St. Vincent and the Grenadines passed the APIS
legislation around January 20, 2007. (Note: Post will
