1. James Story, South America Regional Environmental Officer based
in Brasilia, requests country clearance to visit Lima from March
15-17, Cartagena March 17-21, and Bogota March 21-24. Purpose of
trip to Lima is to discuss an environmental enforcement training
proposal with embassy staff; trip to Cartagena is to attend the 2007
Latin America and Caribbean Climate Technology Fair; and trip to
Bogota is to discuss an environmental enforcement training proposal
with embassy staff.
2. Mr. Story will arrive in Lima March 15 at 0015 hours (local
time) on flight av75 (avianca) and depart March 17 at 0610 on flight
av74 (avianca).
3. Mr. Story will arrive in Cartagena March 17 at 1430 (local time)
on flight av9546 (avianca) and depart March 21 at 1935 on flight
av8549 (avianca).
4. Mr. Story will arrive in Bogota march 21 at 2105 hours (local
time) on flight av8549 (avianca) and depart March 24 at 2045 on
flight rg8699 (varig).
5. Posts have already forwarded proposed itineraries and reo
concurs with the substance of the proposed work plan.
6. Mr. Story has a top secret clearance.
