(U) Global Affairs officer notified Germany's head of
delegation for the Megaports Regional Conference,
Hans-Joachim Staehr, Director General of Customs and Consumer
Taxes in the Ministry of Finance, via telephone January 11 of
the postponement of the Regional Conference scheduled for
Spain in March. He said he understood the reasons and looked
forward to receiving an invitation for a rescheduled
conference.
