Per reftel, Post contacted the Belize Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA),the Directorate of Foreign Trade, and the Belize Intellectual Property Office (BELIPO) to inform them of the proposed DVCs and to confirm the existence of DVC capabilities in country. Although Post has received no formal response, poloff and FSN econ assistant have confirmed in previous discussions with BELIPO and MFA representatives that the GoB is amenable to continuing discussions on a variety of trade-related subjects, including intellectual property rights, trade facilitation, and CSME. ¶2. Thus far, we are unsure of DVC capabilities in country and Post has not yet received its DVC equipment. Post will notify the Department once DVC capabilities have been determined. DIETER
