SERBIA'S PLANS TO PARTICIPATE IN OSCE PPP CONFERENCE

(U) On May 17, 2007, poloff delivered ref demarche to the Serbian MFA, jointly with a poloff from the Russian Embassy in Belgrade. Serbia plans to send two representatives from the Ministry of Interior (so far unnamed),Aleksandar Dovanovic from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, one or two representatives from the Ministry of Justice, and possibly representatives from local NGOs. A meeting was planned for the afternoon of May 17 with the OSCE to discuss NGO participants. The head of the delegation will depend on the rank of all participants involved.
