1. (C) On June 13 at 1900 hours local, DCM chaired an
emergency action committee EAC meeting to review security
situation in the wake of bombing in Beirut that afternoon
that killed MP Walid Eido and several others. EAC agreed to
cancel off-compound moves for evening of June 13. RSO will
evaluate situation on morning of June 14 and make
determinations on off-compound moves. EAC will meet again as
needed.
