Polcouns delivered reftel demarche October 24. MFA Director
of International Organizations Adisorndej Sukhasvasti said
that he found Mr. Walker to be extremely well qualified for
the Independent Audit Advisory Committee and would pass along
his positive assessment to Thailand's UN Mission. He said
that, for these UN committees, Thailand's UN mission makes
the final decision on which candidate to support. He
suggested we contact the mission directly if we wished to
advocate further for Mr. Walker's candidacy.
