¶1. (C) We delivered reftel points to Tomwit Jarnson, Director
of the Africa Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He expressed RTG concerns with the ongoing situation in
Zimbabwe, but said no official statement had been issued at
this point. Jarnson said he would discuss possible support
for the UN Human Rights Council (HRC),and other possible
options, with Dusit Manapan, Director of the Social Division
of the Department of International Organizations in the MFA.
Jarnson offered no further substantive information.
