(C) Poloff delivered REF relevant information regarding the
GITMO Administrative Review Board to Azerbaijani MFA Americas
desk officer on April 3. Given the sensitivity of the issue,
MFA officer noted that he would pass the information to
Minister of Foreign Affairs Mammadyarov, who would decide
what other Azerbaijani government entities may need to be
involved. Poloff also explained that the administrative
review board would be meeting in early May 2007 and that
information from the GOAJ, including that from the family of
the named individual, must be received before then.
