(SBU) Embassy delivered reftel demarche on U.S.-sponsored
human rights resolutions for the UNGA Third Commitee to MFA
officer Jalla Ibrahimova on November 16. Ibrahimova pledged
to convey the request to her department chief, who covers
UN-related issues. Ibrahimova told the Embassy on November
19 that the Ministry -- in conjunction with the Azerbaijani
mission to the UN -- is still considering the request and
would contact the Embassy if there was any new information.
