(C) Further to reftels A and B, poloff received a call from
MFA Arms Control Department Director Yusuf Mammadaliyev on
August 17, offering clarification on Azerbaijan's reporting
on UNSCR 1737 and UNSCR 1747. Mammadaliyev advised that the
Azerbaijani MFA had submitted a combined report to the United
Nations in New York on June 6 which covers Azerbaijan's steps
to implement both UNSCR 1737 and 1747. As such, there would
not be a separate report for USNCR 1747 and that they
considered their reporting obligations in this regard to be
fulfilled.
