PolCouns met with Terumi Matsuo, the MFA's Director of
International Organizations, to convey concerns the USG has
with proposals to reform the UN's internal administration of
justice. Matsuo advised that Paraguay aligns itself on this
matter with the Group of 77. However, she noted that to the
extent some of the reforms proposed carry financial
implications, Paraguay would take a longer look at the
proposals under consideration.
