Per Ref A instructions, Charge met with MFA Americas
Department Director Serdar Bashimov to request Turkmenistan's
support for the re-election of Felice Gaer to the UN
Committee Against Torture. Bashimov promised that his
government would provide its response closer to the time of
the October 8 vote in Geneva.
