1. (C) Poloff passed ref A biographic data to Mahmoud
al-Hamoud, head of the Foreign Ministry's legal office, and
Thamer Adwan, head of the Foreign Minister's private office
on February 11. Hamoud thanked Poloff for the data. Adwan
added that it would be useful to have photos or copies of the
detainees' passports. Hamoud also repeated a request for the
names and biodata of all Jordanians previously held and
released from Guantanamo. Comment: Hamoud and Adwan will
likely pass the names of the six currently being held to the
General Intelligence Directorate for review. End Comment.


2. (C) Hamoud said that the GOJ was still evaluating the
proposed transfer framework agreement (ref E).


3. (C) Post appreciates S/WICI / DOD assistance in gathering
the biographic data of the six detainees and requests
Washington consider Adwan's request for photos of current
Jordanian detainees and Hamoud's request for biographic data
on former Jordanian detainees.
