1. (U) On November 22, Prime Minister Marouf Al-Bakhit
submitted his resignation to King Abdullah, paving the way
for a new government in the wake of parliamentary elections
on November 20. On November 23, the King designated Nadir
Al-Dahabi as the new Prime Minister. The new cabinet, listed
below, was sworn in on November 25. Bios of Dahabi and his
cabinet will follow septel.
