governments to vote against the annual UNGA resolution
condemning the U.S. economic embargo against Cuba with Ayman
al-Aamiry, Foreign Ministry Director for International
Organizations, on October 25. Al-Aamiry requested additional
information on October 28, and EconCouns shared with him the
President's October 24 remarks on U.S. Cuba policy.
Al-Aamiry subsequently reported that Jordan, which
traditionally votes for the resolution, was still considering
the matter.
