candidacy for re-election to the Council of the International Civil
Aviation Organization (ICAO) in membership category Part I to
Captain Suleiman Obeidat, Jordan Civil Aviation Commission Director
General. Captain Obeidat said he strongly supported the U.S.
candidacy, and noted that the world benefits from U.S. aviation
expertise. Captain Obeidat will lead the Jordanian delegation to
the upcoming ICAO Assembly.
