EconCouns and EconOff delivered on July 3, reftel demarches
to Jordanian Civil Aviation Authority Director General
Suleiman Obeidat and Director of Civil Aviation Security
Mohammad Marabha. Obeidat was aware of the four demarches
outlining U.S. positions for the 36th session of the
International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO),and said he
wants to continue working closely with the U.S., particularly
in the areas of safety, security and the environment.
Regarding the demarches delivered, emboffs left copies of the
U.S. positions with Obeidat who promised to review them.
Post will report any substantive comments septel.
