(C) During a lunch for A/S Welch and Ambassador on June 27,
GOJ Spokesman Nasser Judeh gave a read-out on the June 21
Arab League Ministers of Information meeting. Judeh said the
structure/agenda of the meeting made it difficult to raise
our shared concerns. However, when the Saudi Information
Minister successfully inserted ArabSat's "immoral and
indecent programming" on the agenda for the next meeting,
Judeh said he was able to add incitement by
Al-Manar/Al-Zawraa as a combined agenda item. Post is
uncertain when the next AL Ministers of Information gathering
is scheduled. Note: Jordan, in the absence of an
Information Ministry, is represented by Judeh. End Note.
