(SBU) We delivered reftel demarches on October 29 regarding
the designation of Iranian entities by U.S. executive order
and public statements by the Financial Action Task Force
(FATF) to Abdelmalek Bouheddou, MFA Deputy Director for
Multilateral Affairs. Bouheddou offered no substantive
comment but pledged to relay the information to Algerian
Presidential Counter-Terrorism Advisor Kamel Rezag-Bara.
Separately, we delivered a copy of the Ref A non-paper to
Abdelmadjid Amghar, head of the Algerian financial
intelligence unit.
