On December 14, joined by British High Commission counterpart
Christopher Brealey, Poloff delivered reftel information to
Paul Essel, Supervising Director of the Office for
Multilateral, Legal, and Passport Affairs at the MFA. Essel
thanked us for the information and said that the resolution
"poses no problem" for Ghana. Essel added that there seems
to be some progress being made in Iraq and emphasized that
Ghana wants to see a stable Iraq as soon as possible.
